About Us

Labrador Petro-Management Pty Ltd (LPM) was established in Perth, Western Australia in 1987 as Australia’s first drilling project-management company. Since that time LPM has grown to be a major provider of consulting and project management services to the Oil & Gas industry in Australasia with branch offices in Melbourne, Victoria; Auckland, New Zealand; and Nova Scotia, Canada. As well as drilling project management, LPM also offers drilling engineering consulting services.

As part of LPM’s growth strategy, an international alliance was formed in 2003 with APA Petroleum Engineering and Frontier Engineering, from Canada. This enables LPM to offer a wider range of project management services including onshore drilling, well testing, completions and reservoir engineering capabilities.

To add further value to its Australasian drilling and project management services, LPM partnered in late 2003 with Acteon (formerly UWG Group). Acteon provides equipment and engineering solutions for rigless well decommissioning and subsea structures; fixed and flexible riser analysis studies (including frontier deepwater); anchoring and foundation solutions; and well construction project management.
